1. About thevarni.com

thevarni.com ("we", "us", "our") develops and operates industry-specific software platforms for niche businesses. These platforms are provided as white-label solutions operated by individual business owners ("operators") under their own brand and domain.

2. Service Description

Our platforms provide business management tools including order management, subscriber portals, payment tracking, delivery coordination, and customer communications. Each platform is customised for the specific industry it serves.

3. Operator Responsibilities

Each platform is owned and run by an independent business operator (a "kitchen" or "operator"). thevarni.com supplies the software only and is not a party to the sale of any food, goods, or services between an operator and their customers. Operators are independent businesses and not employees, agents, partners, or franchisees of thevarni.com.

3.1 Taxes and income.Each operator is solely responsible for all taxes, levies, income reporting, business registration, remittance, and regulatory and financial-compliance obligations that apply to their business in their own jurisdiction. thevarni.com does not calculate, collect, withhold, remit, or file taxes on an operator's behalf and provides no tax, accounting, or legal advice. Any figures, totals, or reports shown in the platform are provided for convenience only and must be independently verified by the operator.

3.2 Food safety and liability. Each operator is solely and fully responsible for the food and goods they prepare, sell, and deliver — including their sourcing, preparation, handling, storage, hygiene, quality, labeling, allergen disclosure, and fitness for consumption. thevarni.com is a software service provider only; it does not prepare, handle, inspect, store, transport, or sell any food. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, thevarni.com bears no liability for any illness, injury, allergic reaction, contamination, spoilage, mislabeling, or other harm or loss arising from food or goods provided by an operator. Operators are responsible for obtaining and maintaining all licenses, permits, and insurance and for complying with all food-safety and health regulations in their jurisdiction, and they agree to indemnify and hold thevarni.com harmless from any claim arising out of the food or goods they provide.

4. User Accounts

Access to our platforms may require registration via a WhatsApp-based one-time password (OTP) login. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and that the information you provide is accurate.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Do not share your login credentials or verification codes with others.

5. Ordering and Subscriptions

Where applicable, orders are placed through the subscriber portal during published ordering windows. All orders are subject to review and approval by the service operator. Operators reserve the right to reject or modify orders at their discretion.

Order cutoffs are enforced automatically. Orders cannot be placed or modified after the published cutoff time.

6. Payments

Payment terms and pricing are set by each platform's operator and may change with reasonable notice. Payments are managed directly between the subscriber and the operator. All prices are displayed in the operator's local currency unless otherwise noted.

7. Cancellations

To cancel or modify an order, contact the service operator directly before the order cutoff time. Cancellations after the cutoff may not be honoured.

8. WhatsApp Communications

By creating an account on any of our platforms, you consent to receive WhatsApp messages, including:

  • One-time verification codes (OTP) for login
  • Order confirmations and status updates
  • Payment summaries and account balance notifications
  • Service announcements and reminders

These messages are delivered via the Meta WhatsApp Business Cloud API. You may request to opt out of non-essential notifications by contacting the service operator.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse our platforms, including but not limited to: sharing account credentials, placing fraudulent orders, attempting to access administrative functions without authorisation, or interfering with the operation of the service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, thevarni.com shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our platforms. Services are provided on an "as-is" basis without warranties of any kind. This limitation is in addition to, and does not limit, the operator responsibilities set out in Section 3 (including taxes and food safety).

11. Third-Party Services

Our platforms integrate with third-party services for authentication and communications, including:

  • Google Sign-In: By choosing to sign in with Google, you agree to comply with Google's Terms of Service and acknowledge their Privacy Policy.
  • WhatsApp Business API:Use of our platforms includes automated messaging via WhatsApp, subject to Meta's policies.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our platforms after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
